DO YOU HAVE A BICYCLE collecting dust in the basement? Are you a property manager left with dozens of unclaimed bikes? Consider donating to Working Bikes! We accept donations of adult bikes in repairable condition, gently used kids’ bikes, bike parts, and accessories.
To donate, visit our warehouse/shop at 2434 S. Western Ave. any time during store hours. If our warehouse is too far for you to travel, you may bring your donation to one of our drop-off locations, shown on the map below. You can also check our events calendar to see if there is an upcoming bike drive scheduled in your community. If you are a Property Manager, or a resident of a condo or apartment building, please review our Apartment and Condo Donation Procedure Guide.
We highly encourage donors to drop off their donations. If you have more than 5 bikes and are unable to transport them, we may be able to arrange a pick-up. To contact us about a potential pick up, email us for the quickest response ([email protected]), or call 773-657-8419 during business hours. If there’s no answer please leave us a detailed voicemail and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
If you donate at a drop-off location where donation letters are unavailable, you may email us to receive a letter for tax purposes. Working Bikes is proud to partner with municipal organizations and community groups, who support us by donating bikes throughout the year and help coordinate neighborhood bike drives.
