BRANDON’S BASICS is a monthly orientation open to all volunteers. It is a great introduction for new volunteers who want to learn about bicycle mechanics, old volunteers who haven’t been around the warehouse in a while, and long-time wrenchers who want to learn a bit more about what we do at Working Bikes.
Brandon’s Basics covers:
- Introduction to Brandon’s Bike Shop
- House Rules and Etiquette
- WB Membership Program
- Parts of the Bike
- Bicycle Repair Checklist
- Names and Uses of Tools
- Shop Liquids
- Using a Bike Stand
Brandon’s Basics is available from 11:30am-12pm on the first Saturday of the month. It is FREE and open to everyone. Though we do not require a reservation, it would help us to know how many people will show. If you plan to bring a group please contact us ahead of time so we can accommodate accordingly.
Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early for a prompt start. For inquiries contact [email protected].
