Angola Shipping Party - completed!

We stuffed 487 bikes (387 adult MTBs & 100 20" BMX, etc.) into the container, along with extra wheels & tyres, etc.

We WILL be filling a container bound for Angola this coming Saturday, September 4th.

This shipment is being arranged with our partners at the SHAREcircle.

We filled the Ghana-bound container with 382 used adult mountain bikes with front wheel removed, 108 Used children's bikes (about half 20" wheels and half smaller) complete, 7 bags of innertubes, 6 boxes of parts for Bamboosera & 2 bundles of used mountain bike tires.

Thanks to all who came to help, despite the heat & humidity! We got 439 bikes, 307 adult & 132 childrens, into the container - alomng with more frames, wheels, tyres and other assorted parts.

We will be filling a container bound for the Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation with our partners at Bikes for the World on Saturday, July 10th, at 2434 S. Western Avenue.

We crammed 496 bikes into the container - 389 adult & 107 child bikes - and a lot of spares: tyres, tubes, wheels, small parts, etc.

On Saturday, May 15th, at 2434 S. Western Avenue we will be filling a container bound for the Salvadoran American Humanitarian Foundation with our partners at Bikes for the World.

WPSO, Uganda, Shipping Party - COMPLETED

We'll call it 518 bikes to Uganda ... had trouble closing the door to the shipping container! Comprising 448 used adult mountain bikes, 70 used children's bikes, 9 boxes of used parts, 33 used rubber tires & 2 bags of used inner-tubes.

We will be sending a container of 500 bikes to the Women's Prisoner Support Organization in Uganda, on Saturday May 8th from 10am until 3pm at 2434 S. Western Avenue.

We left the front wheels on, as requested, and got around 350 bikes into the container, along with numerous spare parts, etc.

Despite the chilly weather, a brave group of volunteers showed up to help load the container with 516 bikes, 436 adult MTbs and 80 20" BMXs, and a good supply of spare parts!

We plan to load another container with bikes for the Vijana Vocational Center in Arusah Tanzania on Saturday, December 5th, from 10am to 3pm at 2434 S. Western Avenue.
