We have received the following requests ...

Probably 7-10 kid's bikes for children in the shelter Mike is associated with?

120 middle-schoolers (aged 9-12) will be taken out for a day to the forest preserve and allowed to keep the bikes they use on their ride.

The annual giveaway in conjunction with local shelters. 70 bikes required.
Free locks & helmets will be provided by others.

This program would like 8 bikes for 10-12 year olds, 24" mountain-bikes would probably be ideal for this age group?

The Erie Neighborhood House collected 26 bikes at the end of April, 2008.

NIU's borrow-a-bike program would like to expand it's existing fleet of 15 bikes.
Completed: 20 additional bicycles prepared and will be collected 3/12.

They have now picked up 20 brand-spanking old bikes for their program ...
