Mercy Housing Lakefront Youth Bike-a-thon

Mercy Housing Lakefront is a West Side nonprofit and one of our oldest local donations ...

The bikes we have donated help those kids who have no bikes have a day to enjoy a bike ride without worrying about all other negative aspects that impact the community. Therefore, annually, they get to participate in a ten mile bike-a-thon.

This year's bike-a-thon takes place on Saturday August 2nd, with the ride starting at 8:30am and ending between 12:30pm & 1:00pm.

"Rolling on the River", Illinois' Ride for the Environment

Working Bikes will be at "Rolling on the River", Illinois' Ride for the Environment at the Hoover Outdoor Education Center in the Scenic Fox River Valley. This is 55 Miles West of Chicago at 11285 Fox Road, Yorkville, IL 60560.

There will be a bike drive at this event, with all donations going to The Recyclery.
